The Datatag systems consists of a number of elements:
- Electronic transponders which have a unique identification code that can be read by a hand-held scanner used Police Forces in the UK.
- Datadot microdots which enable you to mark all valuable items
- Datatag DNA which is a unique forensic chemical DNA etching solution
- ID labels that have unique ID numbers
These components add up to make your trailer ‘too-hot-to-handle’ for the professional thief.
Kit comprises of.
2 x Circular electronic transponders ( the size of a shirt button or pill )
1 x Tube of Datadots with forensic DNA ( over 1000 dots )
1 x Glass transponder ( the size of a grain of rice )
2 x Tamper proof tow-bar ID number plates ( 290mm x 60mm )
1 x Tube of epoxy resin
1 x Registration form + envelope.
